Warning and Disciplinary Procedures

Repetition Action Taken
First Verbal warning with note added to student file
Second First written warning
Third Final written warning
Fourth Referral to Disciplinary Committee for appropriate action (which may include temporary or permanent dismissal)

Investigation Procedures

  1. The student will be informed of the alleged violation.
  2. The student will be given an opportunity to respond or defend themselves.
  3. A report will be submitted to the relevant committee for a final decision.
  4. All procedures will be documented in the student’s file.

Appeal Process (Brief Summary)

Students have the right to submit an appeal against the disciplinary decision within 5 working days from the date of the decision. The appeal will be reviewed by an independent appeals committee.
